The cupola on the cottage roof has been repaired, and copper flashing has been installed near the ridge line. Copper flashing, also known as copper ridge strips, is a well-known and effective way to help reduce algae, moss, and mold growth on cedar shake roofs, particularly as a preventative measure.
Bill Davis and his assistant, Jason, also replaced several fence boards that were damaged by fallen branches during the recent snowstorm. The fence in the boatyard will be repaired once access to the area is no longer needed for the removal of trees and branches that fell throughout the community.
The large fallen tree in the boatyard has now been completely removed. Chris Lewis, our groundskeeper, continues the process of cutting up fallen branches and trees and staging them in piles for removal around the property.
A sincere thank you to Bill, Jason, and Chris for their continued hard work and dedication in helping keep Corbin Hall safe, maintained, and looking its best. πΏπ³
